Hyperemesis Gravidarum rarely ends at 12 weeks of pregnancy. It typically improves in the middle of pregnancy, but symptoms often last until birth. 

Guidelines for treating Nausea and Vomiting in Pregnancy and Hyperemesis Gravidarum

The Institute of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists, Royal College of Physicians of Ireland and the Clinical Strategy and Programmes Division, Health Service Executive has produced national guidelines for treating hyperemesis gravidarum and nausea and vomiting of pregnancy in Ireland. The guidelines detail the most up to date and evidenced based treatment for the condition and while flexibility is needed for women's unique circumstances following these guidelines is best practice.
